Facing the Tyrhennian Sea, the Amalfi Coast is one of 51 Italian sites inserted on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Amalfi Coast is part of the Campania coast which overlooks Salerno Gulf for about 40km south of the Sorrento Peninsula.
From the west to the east it is delimited by the towns of Positano and of Vietri sul Mare. The name of the city of Amalfi, one of the old Maritime Republics and main centre ofo the coast.
The outstanding scenarios and its natural character make the Coast a unique and peculiarplace, both froman historical and artistic point of view. Here is possible to see things like: Roman Villa in Minori , samples of Medieval architecture as in Ravello and Scala, churches ans museums wich carefully preserve precious jewels and hadcraft artefacts , other than the natural beauty of the Mill Valley and he Furore Fjiord wth thier unique paths.
Thanks to the panoramic and twisting roads ( road 163 Amalfitan) , is possible to drive all over the entire ” Mermaids coast” and visit the main towns on the sea, while enjoying a breathtaking views suspended between the sea and Lattari Mountains. Valleys and promontories, beaches and hidden caves, little villages and ancient ruins are all over these places. Everything is surrounded with lemon terraces, vines, olives trees, colourful bougainvilleas and jasmine hints.
